Yakhost offers fully featured hosting on UK-based servers at an affordable price. Your website will be hosted on a high spec Unix server, with full control via a web-based control panel. As standard, you will get your own domain name, hosting for your website, mailboxes with POP3 and webmail access, with full support by email. Prices start at just £25 a year (£2.08 a month) including domain registration.

In addition to all the standard features, we also offer PHP scripting and Perl-CGI with your own cgi-bin directory, Frontpage extensions, MySQL databases and graphical web statistics.
Why UK based?
Most budget-priced hosting, even from UK companies, will host your website on a server based in the US. This is cheaper for them, but the cost to you is a sluggish website. If your intended audience is in the UK or Europe, the responsiveness of your website will depend on the number of "hops" between the browser and the server.
