I'm new to this, how do I start?
Choose your domain name, then contact us and let us know which package you require.
Which package should I choose?
Most people with a small static website will find that the basic package will cover all their needs. If you are planning to use a database or dynamic scripting, go for the regular package. If you're not sure, don't worry, you can upgrade at any time.
How do I know how much bandwidth I'm going to need?
Most of our customers find the basic package allowance of 500 MB per month is ample for their needs. If you get a huge number of hits (for example a popular forum) or your pages are very big (for example large numbers of high resolution photos), you may need more bandwidth. Just try it and see - you can upgrade at any time if you find you need more.
There are some hosts that offer unlimited bandwidth/web space, why should I use your service?
Mmmm, yes. They say "unlimited", but bandwidth and disc space costs them money. So you can be sure that if you took their offer literally they would quickly either shut your account down or limit the speed to the point of being unusable. In practice, all our customers have found the bandwidth we offer to be ample.
None of the packages has the combination I want. Can I have the basic package with a .com address and graphical statistics?
Yes, of course. We have standard prices for any combination of services, please contact us for details.
I've already got a domain name, can I transfer it to you?
There's no need to transfer it, simply ask your current supplier to set the nameservers as detailed in the Customer FAQ. We'll give you a small discount, of course.
